Some people spend their entire lives never feeling loved. An abused child. A social outcast. A homeless man. A prostitute. Our neighbors. The person in the church pew next to us. Me.
Damaged or broken relationships have left us desperate. Like the sick woman who sought Jesus as her last hope for healing, we long for just one touch. But instead of looking to Jesus, we look to sex, success, drugs, money, fame, friends to fulfill that deep need and longing.
But God’s love is unconditional, and He relentlessly pursues our hearts. When we yield, He provides healing beyond our wildest imagination. His perfect love casts out fears and chains. His is a love that restores and redeems what we believe to be beyond repair.
Though all else may fail, His love remains.
