Story

I love stories.

I love to read, to get lost in a story. Lately, the stories I love the most are those of people I know.

Love.

Loss.

Pain.

Healing.

All of those, in any order. Or maybe none of those.

Story is what connects people to one another. It’s what makes us finally realize we’re not alone. It’s often the key that opens the door to healing…to living life well.

Connection.

Understanding.

Empathy.

Grace.

Removing the mask and revealing the story buried beneath is what allows shackles to fall at our feet.

Have you told your story to anyone lately?

  1. Thoughts for the day says:

In telling the story we begin to realize and remember how very blessed we are, and how faithful our God is to us. I believe that is why we have the Old Testament as a story taking us into the New, so we can follow the path and history of God's redeeming love.
Yes may we not be afraid to tell our stories for in the telling 'someone just might be blessed'.

  2. Love your comment!! Yes, the New being the most beautiful ending {and beginning} of all stories!
