It’s Difficult To Believe

At age seven, I stopped trusting. Stopped believing. Stopped feeling. I became numb.

Words of love, affection and good intention fell of deaf ears. I quickly laid brick after brick around my heart to protect it.

All these years later, it’s still hard to believe and accept what God says is true:

He loves me…just as I am.

Lord, help my unbelief.

He has made me worthy.

Lord, help my unbelief.

I am accepted; never rejected.

Lord, help my unbelief.

He is always with me; I am never alone.

Lord, help my unbelief.

He is trustworthy.

Lord, help my unbelief.

He heals the brokenhearted.

Lord, help my unbelief.

God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28)

Lord, help my unbelief.
